1. Overview of Fire Resistant Underground Cables:

The fire-resistant cable CXV/ DATA (DSTA)/FR is made of copper wire (Level 2), XLPE insulation, and FR-PVC outer sheath. It is designed for the transmission of power to equipment in underground installations while limiting the spread of fire. Therefore, it is suitable for various applications. The fire-resistant cable is suitable for use in public works, backup power systems, emergency systems, fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, smoke alarm and smoke extraction systems, and exit dangerous light systems.

3. Identifying Characteristics of Fire Resistant Underground Cables:

By color tape:

Single-phase cable: Natural color without color band.
Multi-phase cable: Natural color combined with color bands such as blue, red, yellow, etc.

4. Technical Characteristics of Fire Resistant Underground Cables:

Testing voltage: 3.5 kV / 5 minutes
Permissible long-term working temperature of the conductor: 90 ºC.
Maximum temperature of the short-circuited conductor for 5 seconds or more: 250 ºC.
The cable has flame retardant properties and is difficult to ignite.
