PP PLASTIC TRAY

1. Features:

High mechanical strength, rigid, not as flexible as PE, not suitable for making yarn. Particularly prone to tearing when cut or punctured.
Transparent with high surface gloss for excellent printability and crisp print.
Resistant to temperatures above 100 degrees C. However, the sealing temperature (body) of PP packaging (140 degrees C) is high compared to PE, which can damage the outer structural laminating film. Therefore, PP is often used less as the innermost layer.
Waterproof, resistant to O2, steam, grease, and other gases.

2. Usage:

Used for single-layer packaging of food that does not require strict antioxidant preservation.
Used for making fibers and weaving food packages containing large quantities of grain.
PP is also used as a coating for multi-layer films to enhance air and steam resistance, provide high printing capabilities, and facilitate easy opening of the packaging (through creating a cut). It also creates a high gloss finish for packaging.
