Description:

MA 150 is the humidity analytical balance of the German Sartorius Group replacing the popularly applied MA 45 model. It has preeminent functions for moisture analysis in research and biology, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, processing, import-export, and other fields.

Specification:

Display mode: Unlike the MA 45, which uses a liquid crystal display, the MA 150 uses a backlit display mode similar to that of a mobile phone. This allows the scale to be operated in low light conditions.

Load: According to experts, the optimal sample size for analysis is usually from 0 to 150g (MA150). This sample size ensures high accuracy in determining moisture content.

Combination of scale and dryer: The MA 150 is a combination of an analytical balance with 0.001g accuracy and an infrared drying device:

The advantage of infrared rays is that they distribute heat evenly, resulting in uniform drying of the sample. This characteristic significantly shortens the sample analysis time (complete moisture analysis procedure takes about 5 to 10 minutes).
Users do not need to closely monitor each result like with the traditional oven method.

Sample drying mechanism: Infrared heat radiation

The advantage of this drying mechanism is that the heat is absorbed completely. During the moisture analysis process, the molecules of the drying sample interact with each other, allowing for accurate analysis results. This method is faster than the traditional oven method.
Another advantage is that when drying with infrared rays, the heat is distributed at a moderate intensity without distorting the sample.
