Description:

A micropipette, also known as a pipette, is a tool used in chemical, biological, and medical laboratories to accurately measure and transfer liquid samples. It is commonly used for liquid mixing.

Micropipettes are designed for different volumes and purposes. Many pipettes work by creating a vacuum above the liquid, allowing the user to draw up a specific amount by releasing pressure on the pipette's tip.

Some pipettes have a fixed volume, while others can be adjusted using a volume adjustment knob or electronically. There are also micropipettes designed to withstand high temperatures in autoclave chambers, such as those used for biomedical and microbiological samples.

Most micropipettes have a compact design that fits comfortably in the hand and are available in different liquid channel configurations.

Specifications:

Can be fully autoclaved and withstand steam sterilization at 121°C, 1 atm for 20 minutes.
After autoclaving, pipettes should be cooled down and allowed to dry for 12 hours.

Accuracy: ± 1.50% at 10µl, ± 2.50% at 5µl, ± 4.00% at 1µl
Suitable for standard 96-well sample plates.
